Gordon Academic College has trained educators in Haifa for seven decades. The college combines pedagogical innovation, values, excellence and love of people, and offers preparatory programmes, bachelor's and master's degrees, academic conversion and certificate studies under one roof.
Students are exposed to advanced teaching methods, go out for practical placements in schools and kindergartens, and learn with lecturers who are also researchers and practitioners.

From a teachers' seminary to an academic college
In 1953 Dr Yosef Schechter merged two teacher-training seminaries into one and named it after A.D. Gordon, the thinker who believed that education is the way and the human being is the goal.
Today Gordon is a recognised academic college with bachelor's and master's degrees, academic conversion, preparatory programmes and continuing studies, and delegations from around the world come to see its innovation.
