Scholarships and financial aid
Gordon Academic College works with local authorities, youth centres, non-profits and Mifal HaPayis, and awards scholarships in return for community volunteering hours.
How it works
- Scholarships with local authorities
The college's scholarships together with local authorities and youth centres in the Haifa and northern district. The listings are updated during the summer.
- Mifal HaPayis
Mifal HaPayis does not allow more than one joint scholarship a year. The college's share goes directly into your tuition account.
- External scholarships
Perach, scholarships for discharged soldiers, National Union of Israeli Students scholarships and more, as published on the website.
- You must study in both semesters
A joint scholarship depends on studying in semesters A and B.
Example: a scholarship for residents of Beit She'an
The Beit She'an municipality, the college and Mifal HaPayis offer a scholarship of NIS 10,000 together with 140 hours of volunteering and community activity, for students studying for a bachelor's or master's degree. Applications by 01.10.26.
Ministry of Education conditional loans
The Ministry of Education's support scheme aims to increase the number of students training to teach subjects in short supply. It includes a conditional loan that becomes a grant once you join the education system, under the terms of the circular. The Ministry of Education decides who is eligible, and the college reports to it on students who meet the admission requirements, the academic requirements and the preferred subjects.
