The pre-academic preparatory tracks
A range of preparatory programmes that replace a matriculation certificate or raise your average, and open the door to a bachelor's degree at Gordon and at most institutions in Israel.
The tracks
- One-year programme (2 semesters)
For holders of a partial matriculation: at least 7 study units with a pass grade on the matriculation certificate, and 12 years of schooling. Replaces the matriculation certificate for admission to a bachelor's degree on the social sciences and humanities track.
- Short programme (one semester)
For holders of a full matriculation certificate who want to raise their average.
- 30+ programme (one semester)
For people aged 30 and over who have completed 12 years of schooling.
- The Taka programme
For new immigrants, together with the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration.
What they learn
Mathematics, English for academic purposes, academic literacy, computer applications, enrichment courses and academic courses with credits towards the bachelor's degree at Gordon. Those who complete the preparatory programme successfully are entitled to be placed in English for academic purposes at the basic level without the Amiram exam.
